The Problem

Traditional soccer broadcasts provide a limited perspective - fans can only see what the camera shows them. During live games, it's often difficult to: - Track individual player movements across the entire pitch - Understand tactical formations and positioning in real-time - Engage with the game beyond passive viewing - Analyze player performance from a comprehensive perspective

The platform leverages cutting-edge technologies to deliver an immersive experience:

  • YOLO Object Detection: Using Roboflow's sport repository for accurate player and pitch detection
  • Computer Vision Pipeline: Real-time processing of live video feeds to identify player positions
  • Homography Transformation: Roboflow's advanced transformation algorithms map 2D positions to 3D space
  • Unity 3D Engine: Powerful 3D visualization and rendering for immersive user experience

🎯 Current Development Status

The current demo is running on desktop, providing a foundation for the full XR experience. While I don't have access to Apple Vision Pro, Meta Quest, or other XR devices for testing yet, the core technology is ready for XR deployment.
